The Club

About

The club is an artist-run collective. It began in 2016 in a shared studio on a back street in Peckham, south London, with six people paying rent between them and no plan beyond keeping the room. It has since extended well past Peckham: members work across London, elsewhere in the UK, and abroad, and the directory is how they stay findable to each other.

There is no gallery, no programme and nothing for sale here. This is a directory: a way for members to publish their work, and for other artists, curators, agents, managers and collaborators to find people by discipline, medium or availability.

The club is run as a collective. Decisions are made at a monthly meeting, open to all members. There are no staff and no director. Costs are shared.

To join, send a link to your work and a short note about what you make. Membership is decided at the monthly meeting. There is no application form and no fee beyond the shared studio costs, which only apply if you use the space.
