Halima Yusuf works in textiles: hand-dyed cloth, stitched panels, and garments made to be worn once at a specific event. She learned to sew from her mother and later trained in tailoring. Her practice sits between craft and socially engaged work, with much of it made collectively in workshops she runs locally.
